So impressed... and inspired ... and even a little jealous. Once you make up your mind to do something amazing, the whole universe conspires to help you acheive it. Go with speed, courage and our prayers and support!

Katie I was speaking with someone yesterday and was reminded what it was like after graduating from college many years ago. Some people go backpacking around Europe, some people begin the long process of finding a job, and then there are people like you who work for the nonprofit Americorps after graduation...but I can't think of anyone who decides to combine their passion with such a great fundraising cause by rowing across the ocean for Blue Planet Run Foundation! In a few years you'll be working or raising a family and won't be able to do something like this--you picked a great time in life to do this and it will define who you are for the future! Row, row, row your boat Katie and love it!

Katie--my thoughts and prayers are with you on this voyage. Your life will be changed, and so will those for which you will provide safe water, and still others who will learn of the mission through you. Bon Voyage!

Katie, you continue to amaze and delight all of us at Blue Planet Run. Whenever I tell your story, people are overwhelmed and so excited at what you're doing. We are so honored that you are combining your voyage with fundraising for Blue Planet Run.
So fly across the Atlantic, row on back and do us all proud. You go, girl and show everyone what you're made of!
